Veteran playback singer Asha Bhosle has been admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai after reportedly suffering a cardiac arrest on Saturday, according to initial medical updates.
Sources indicate that the 90-year-old singer was rushed to the hospital’s emergency unit immediately after her condition deteriorated. She is currently under close medical observation, and doctors are providing intensive care support.
Asha Bhosle, one of India’s most celebrated voices, is the sister of legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar and has contributed to Indian music for several decades with thousands of songs across multiple languages.
