New Delhi: In a major political development following India’s precision military campaign Operation Sindoor against terror infrastructure in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir and Punjab province, All India Majlis-e-Ittehad-ul-Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi has joined the Centre’s all-party anti-terror delegations visiting key foreign countries.

Owaisi confirmed his participation and said he is determined to “expose Pakistan’s decades-long terror agenda” on the international stage.

“India has been a victim of Pakistan-sponsored terrorism. This began during the time of (former Pakistan President) Muhammad Zia-ul-Haq, and we need to tell the world about this and also about the Kandahar plane hijack, the 26/11 Mumbai terror attack, the 2001 Parliament attacks, the Uri and Pathankot incidents, the killing of seven tourists in Reasi, and Pahalgam. This is a danger for humanity,” Owaisi said.

Owaisi also took a sharp swipe at Pakistan’s religious posturing. “Pakistan is trying to project itself as an Islamic country, but India also has nearly 20 crore Muslims. We need to tell (the world) about this as well,” he asserted, calling the narrative of Pakistan being a global Islamic voice “bakwas”.

Though the composition of the delegation teams is yet to be finalised, Owaisi expressed readiness to represent India’s stance globally. “I am not aware of the group I will be part of, and who is going to be the chairperson. We need to put forth India’s story,” he added.

Joining Owaisi in the international effort, Nationalist Congress Party (Sharad Chandra Pawar) MP Supriya Sule also accepted the Centre’s invitation to be part of the diplomatic mission.

“I am honoured to join the all-party delegation representing India on the global stage. I humbly accept this responsibility and thank Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji, Minister Kiren Rijiju ji, and the Ministry of External Affairs,” Sule posted on X. “Our mission is to convey India’s united and unwavering message of zero tolerance against terrorism,” she added, while expressing gratitude to her constituents in Baramati.
