Anti-Corruption foundation of India J&K chapter holds one day seminar at Sopore

Srinagar: The Anti-corruption Foundation of India (ACFI), Jammu and Kashmir chapter on Wednesday organized a one-day seminar on the theme of public system management. The seminar was organised in collaboration with the government boy’s degree college, Sopore district, Baramulla.

The seminar was attended by various district officers, civil society, senior citizens, youth, which included principles of various colleges, higher secondary schools in Baramulla district, senior superintendent of police, research scholars and others.

The seminar commenced with the recitation of the holy Quran. Many speakers from different departments shed light on the topic. The welcome address of the seminar was delivered by Prof Dr Salma Ahad, principal of government degree college boys Sopore. 

In her address she welcomed and thanked the guest. Besides this she said that it was an honour for the prestigious college that such a program is organized here and also said this is its first kind of seminar held under the banner of anti-corruption foundation of India. She hoped that in future more such programs would be held.

The vote of thanks was given Dr. Nazrul Islam who was also the convener of this seminar. In his address he thanked the district administration, civil society, colleges, principal colleges, and principal of the host college and staff faculty for such honour and cooperation. In his message, he said that education is the blessings of life and education is the only solution to any nation to change the system in a good way. Besides this he said unless and until he, we and you cannot work together for making public system management then it is not possible to make the system smooth.
