The investigation led to strict action by authorities, with the Railway Ministry terminating the contract of Krishna Enterprises for gross negligence in maintaining hygiene standards.
The Ministry also imposed a Rs 50 lakh fine on the vendor and Rs 10 lakh on IRCTC, reinforcing its zero-tolerance stance on food safety lapses in premium trains.
