Patna: Union Minister Chirag Paswan on Friday highlighted the smooth coordination within the NDA alliance ahead of Bihar Assembly elections, contrasting it sharply with the internal disputes in the opposition Mahagathbandhan. Speaking after a meeting with Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Paswan emphasized that all NDA candidates have filed their nominations without any confusion.

“You all can see the atmosphere within the NDA and among the public—the ease with which the NDA has respected all five of its allies and successfully completed smooth negotiations. All our 243 candidates’ nominations have been cleared, and there is no confusion about the names, unlike in the Mahagathbandhan where disputes over seats arise,” Paswan said.

He added that during discussions with Shah, the NDA leadership reviewed strategies to win historic seats, especially in constituencies where the opposition faces internal clashes.

“In the meeting with Amit Shah today, the strategy to win historic seats was discussed. There are head-to-head clashes going on in the Mahagathbandhan. Candidates have filed nominations against the candidates of their own alliance,” Paswan said.
