A public protest led by Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke witnessed dramatic scenes in Jaipur after an unidentified man allegedly slapped him while he was addressing supporters, leading to a brief confrontation at the venue.
Protest Meeting Interrupted Mid-Speech
The incident took place at Shaheed Smarak, where Dipke had gathered supporters as part of a campaign focusing on issues such as examination paper leaks, unemployment and reforms in the education sector.
According to eyewitnesses, Dipke was interacting with participants when a man from the crowd suddenly approached him and allegedly struck him in front of those present. The unexpected incident momentarily disrupted the programme and caused confusion among attendees.
Videos of the episode quickly surfaced on social media, drawing widespread attention.
Supporters Confront Alleged Attacker
Soon after the alleged assault, several supporters rushed towards the individual, resulting in a heated exchange near the stage area. The situation briefly escalated before police personnel and security staff intervened to prevent further unrest.
Authorities have not officially disclosed the identity of the person seen in the viral footage, and no detailed statement regarding possible legal action has been released so far.
Campaign Focused on Student and Employment Issues
The Jaipur event was part of a larger outreach campaign being conducted by Dipke and the Cockroach Janta Party in multiple cities across the country.
The organisation has been raising concerns over examination irregularities, recruitment-related controversies and unemployment. It has also been demanding greater accountability from authorities over issues affecting students and job aspirants.
