Burglars decamp with cash and gold from late former Khatibi Jamia Qadeem Manzoor Kirmani’s house in Handwara

Srinagar: Burglars broke into the house of Manzoor Kirmani in north Kashmir’s Handwara and decamped with cash and gold.

The incident occurred during the intervening night of October 11 and 12 in Handwara.

The victim Nayeem Ahmad Shah while talking to media told that burglars entered into the house on Sunday late evening when the entire family was busy in a marriage ceremony in one of their relatives’ place in Handwara.

The victim’s family registered a complaint at the police station Handwara.

Taking cognizance of the incident, police registered a formal case in this regard under First Information Report (FIR) number 313/2021 under sections 354,380 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).

As per the complaint registered by the family, burglars looted cash and gold ornaments worth Rs 4/5 lakhs from the house of late Manzoor Ahmad Kirman.
