Srinagar: A paramilitary trooper of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) was injured after suspected militants hurled a grenade towards security forces in Langate area of North Kashmir’s Handwara on Monday.
Confirming the incident, a police officer said that militants lobbed a grenade on E-07 CRPF patrol party. In this incident a CRPF trooper received minor splinter injuries. He has been shifted to nearby hospital for treatment.
Meanwhile the area been cordoned off to nab the attackers. So far no one has claimed any responsibility for the attack on the CRPF contingent.
