Over 32 crore 90 lakh Vaccine Doses have been administered so far under Nationwide Vaccination Drive. Health Ministry today said, the recovery rate in the country has increased to 96.87 per cent. Total recoveries across the country so far is over 2 crore 93 lakh. Nearly 57 thousand patients recovered during last 24 hours.
Daily recoveries continue to outnumber the Daily New Cases for the 47th consecutive day. India reported less than 40 thousand daily new cases after 102 days. Over 37 thousand new cases reported in the last 24 hours. Country’s Active Caseload declines to over 5 lakh 52 thousand. Active cases constitute 1.82 per cent of total cases.
Weekly Positivity Rate remains below 5 per cent and currently at 2.74 per cent. Daily positivity rate at 2.12 per cent and it is less than 5 per cent for 22 consecutive days. 907 deaths reported in the last 24 hours. The death toll due to the pandemic has reached over 3 lakh 97 thousand. Health Ministry said, testing capacity has been substantially ramped up and till now over 40 crore 81 lakh tests were conducted.
