In Maharashtra, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation has issued guidelines for starting COVID 19 vaccination in housing societies along with offices. News agency reports that BMC has clarified that the vaccination at housing societies and workplaces can be carried out by registered private COVID vaccination centers.
Eligible Employees, family members, society residents, maids, drivers etc. can be inoculated at these places. But for that, beneficiaries have to register on COWIN portal and they have to produce govt.
Approved photo ID for verification. Societies or workplaces interested to carry out such vaccination drive will have to ensure availability of separate rooms for waiting, vaccination and observation. Basic life support ambulances should also be kept ready in case if beneficiaries reported adverse events following immunisation.
