Housing and Urban Affairs Minister Hardeep Singh Puri has said that the Central Vista project will be ready in time to host the Republic Day Parade in the 75th year of Indian independence.
In a series of tweets today, Mr. Puri said, it will have more public space with refurbished lawns, paved walkways along Rajpath, improved landscape, clean canals and adequate public amenities. He urged the public not to believe in fake photos and canards about work at Central Vista Avenue.
He said, overall the green cover will increase at the completion of this project. He added that only a few trees will be transplanted due to the entire project.
