The Maharashtra government has said that they are facing shortage of vaccines and due to this many vaccination centres have been shut. Even in Mumbai people are eagerly waiting for their turn to get vaccinated and for this they are standing in long queues.
In Mumbai many covid vaccination centres are shut but some are open which have long queues, and one of them is BKC vaccination centre. However, yesterday the vaccination was halted at BKC centre also due to shortage of vaccine. This was for the second time in three days, BKC Covid centres did not conduct vaccination drives.
Meanwhile, Mumbai on Friday reported 7,221 fresh COVID-19 cases and 72 deaths, as per a report by BMC’s health department.
