Srinagar: Based on specific information regarding the movement of ANEs (arms and explosives) in Kralgund area, cordon and search operation was launched by Handwara Police along with 32 Rashtriya Rifles (RR) and 92 Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) in village Nehama Kralgund.
During the search operations one Terror Associate named Shahid Hassain Dar, S/o Gh Hassan Dar R/o Nehama Kralgund was apprehended by the security agencies on Tuesday.

Incriminating materials including arms and ammunition were recovered from his possession. Regarding the incident, Case First Information Report (FIR) No. 88/2020, U/S 7/25 I. A. Act, 13, 18, 20 ULA (P) Act has been registered in Police Station Kralgund and investigations have been taken up.
