Former Navi Mumbai police chief Sanjay Kumar hospitalised for Covid-19

Admitted at MGM Hospital Vashi for Covid-19 treatment

Navi Mumbai: Former Navi Mumbai police commissioner Sanjay Kumar who on September 3, 2020 transferred as a new Additional Director General of Police, Training has now tested positive for Covid-19 and he is taking treatment at MGM Hospital, Vashi.

Taking to the twitter former Navi Mumbai Police Chief wrote, “Inspite of all precautions and all sort of concoctions Ayurvedic, homeopathic and rigorous physical activities I also become victim of Covid-19. Started with muscle pain, fever, and shivering and throat infection. Hospitalised. I’m Fine. Will Get released in a week. Good rest.”

Replying to Sanjay Kumar, Indrajeet Vasant Thorat tweeted, “Please take care of yourself. You are a warrior. Officers like you are the real asset for this country. Stay safe. Stay strong… Wishing for your speedy recovery. Take care. And join your new posting with great enthusiasm.”

Sanjay Kumar while speaking with this Correspondent said, “Yes, I am getting treated for Covid-19 at MGM Hospital Vashi. Even after taking so many precautions I got infected to Covid-19. Soon after recovering from Covid-19, I will resume my duty as Additional Director General of Police- Training.”
