CONSTRUCTOR RINAC to offer storage, intralogistics and temperature-controlled warehousing solutions
Bengaluru: RINAC India Limited and European storage engineering group Gonvarri Material Handling have formed a joint venture, CONSTRUCTOR RINAC Private Limited, to provide warehouse storage, intralogistics and cold-chain solutions in India. The new company formalises a longstanding distributor relationship between the two firms and will cater to both ambient and temperature-controlled warehousing requirements.
CONSTRUCTOR RINAC’s portfolio will include P90 pallet racking, high-density storage systems, mobile racking, pallet shuttle systems, rack-clad warehouses and semi-automated and automated storage solutions. The venture will also draw on RINAC’s experience in temperature-controlled infrastructure for specialised warehousing applications. “The formation of CONSTRUCTOR RINAC is a natural progression of our longstanding association with Gonvarri Material Handling,” said P.V. Balasubramanian, Managing Director of RINAC India Limited. He said the partnership would combine international storage-engineering expertise with local market knowledge and project execution capabilities.
Sergio Rodriguez Cuesta, CEO of Gonvarri Material Handling, said India represented an important market for warehousing and intralogistics and that the partnership would allow the group to bring its storage-engineering capabilities closer to customers in the country. The joint venture plans to develop local engineering, project management, technical support and after-sales capabilities in India as it expands its presence in the warehousing and intralogistics sector. RINAC India Limited, founded in 1994 and headquartered in Bengaluru, designs, manufactures, installs and commissions turnkey cold-chain projects for sectors including horticulture, dairy, seafood, meat and poultry, pharmaceuticals, healthcare and warehousing. The company has manufacturing operations in India and serves markets across South Asia, West Asia and parts of Africa. Gonvarri Material Handling operates through the CONSTRUCTOR, Dexion and Kasten brands, with operations across Europe and a sales network extending to West Asia, Africa and the Americas.
