Yogi Adityanath’s Explosive Attack on SP: “Babua Sleeps Till 12, Then Goes to Gym”

Pilibhit, Uttar Pradesh: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath launched a sharp political attack on the Samajwadi Party during a public address, targeting what he described as “family-centric politics” and alleging that voters have rejected their governance model.

Referring to the party’s political symbol and electoral setbacks, he said, “They are so limited to their family that they have no concern for the rest of the world. People who remain confined only to their families cannot serve society or the nation. That is why the people of Uttar Pradesh have ‘punctured their cycle’ so that it cannot move forward. Because if that cycle runs, it will create riots, disturb peace, impose curfews, and promote hooliganism. It will endanger the safety of women, loot traders, and make the lives of decent people difficult in society…”

“Empathy With the Poor, Not Delay Politics”

In another strong remark, the Chief Minister contrasted his government’s approach with the opposition’s past governance style, saying his administration focuses on immediate action for the poor.

He said, “We do not have a habit of postponing things; we have connected our empathy with the suffering of the poor. The Samajwadi Party could have also shown such empathy, as they had the opportunity to govern the state four times. But they would listen only when ‘babua’ wake up on time. They sleep till 12 noon, get ready by 2 p.m., and then go to the gym at 5 p.m., so how can they understand the pain of the poor?…”

Political Heat Intensifies in Uttar Pradesh

The remarks add to the ongoing war of words between the ruling BJP and the Samajwadi Party, with both sides frequently trading accusations over governance, law and order, and political legacy in Uttar Pradesh.

Political observers say such speeches are likely to further intensify campaigning rhetoric ahead of upcoming electoral battles in the state.
