Actor Satendra Soni, known for his performances in Mirzapur, Laapataa Ladies and other projects, has made serious allegations against the makers of the upcoming film Ped Palki. In a video shared on social media, the actor became emotional while claiming that he was denied his full payment after completing the shoot and was allegedly threatened when he demanded his pending remuneration.
According to Satendra, he travelled to Madhya Pradesh to shoot for Ped Palki, directed and produced by Pushpendra Singh. He claimed that he received only Rs 50,000 as an advance before filming began, while the remaining payment was promised during the production schedule. However, after he raised the issue of his pending dues, he alleged that his shooting schedule was suddenly ended and he was instructed to vacate his hotel room within 10 minutes.
In the comments section of his social media post, the actor levelled further allegations, claiming that director Pushpendra Singh and his wife, Pragati Chouhan, physically assaulted him and forcibly made him sit inside a car.
Describing the alleged incident, Satendra wrote, “Hum teeno (Sridhar Dubey and Pankaj Sharma) paidal ja rahe the, tabhi Pushpendra Singh aur unki patni Pragati Chouhan ne car se hamara peecha kiya. Mujhe dekhte hi dono ne beech sadak par mere saath maarpeet shuru kar di. Mujhe bachane ke liye jab Shridhar Dubey bhaiya aage aaye, to director ne unke saath bhi maarpeet ki.”
He further alleged, “Iske baad, mauka dekhkar Pragati Chouhan ne mujhe ghaseette hue car ki pichhli seat par bitha diya aur mera mobile cheenne ki koshish ki. Mujhe laga jaise meri kidnapping ki ja rahi ho.”
The actor also claimed that fellow actor Shridhar Dubey was allegedly forced into the vehicle and that both of them were threatened during the incident. According to Satendra, the accused allegedly abused them and warned them by saying, “Yeh hamara ilaaka hai.”
Concluding his statement, Satendra issued a warning to others in the film industry, writing, “I want to warn everyone that, in my opinion, this husband-and-wife duo are frauds. I urge people not to work with them.”
In a later update shared with his followers, the actor informed fans that he had safely returned to Mumbai after facing difficulties during the incident.
As of now, Pushpendra Singh, Pragati Chouhan and the makers of Ped Palki have not publicly responded to the allegations. The claims remain allegations made by the actor, and their version of events is awaited.
