“Historic Hat-Trick Incoming”: PM Modi Links Bengal Poll Surge to BJP’s Big Election Winning Streak

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday projected strong confidence in the BJP’s prospects in the ongoing Assembly elections, declaring that the party is on course for a “historic hat-trick of victories” in the five poll-bound states.

Speaking at a public event in Hardoi, Uttar Pradesh, after inaugurating the Ganga Expressway, PM Modi linked the BJP’s recent electoral gains to what he described as a growing wave of public support across the country.

Referring to the party’s victories in Bihar and Gujarat, he said the BJP’s winning momentum would continue in the current round of elections and strengthen the mission of building a developed India.

“I am confident that in the elections in these five states, the BJP is going to complete a historic hat-trick of victories,” PM Modi said while addressing the gathering.

PM Modi Highlights Bengal’s Fearless Voting

The Prime Minister also focused on the second phase of polling in West Bengal, where he said people were voting in large numbers and in a free atmosphere.

According to PM Modi, visuals of long queues at polling stations show the people’s determination to participate in democracy, and he said the absence of fear during voting reflected a major democratic shift in the state.

“People are casting their votes without fear. This is a virtuous symbol of the country’s Constitution and the country’s strengthening democracy,” he said.

He also thanked the voters of Bengal for what he called their alertness toward democratic rights and appealed for even stronger participation before the end of polling.

Election Results Will Strengthen BJP’s National Push

PM Modi said the results of the Assembly elections would have an impact beyond the states, arguing that another BJP victory would accelerate the government’s national development agenda.

He said the outcome would bring “new energy” to the country’s growth plans and reinforce public faith in the BJP’s governance model.

The Prime Minister’s remarks come at a crucial stage in the election cycle, with the BJP seeking to convert recent momentum into another major electoral success.

Opposition Targeted Over Political Resistance

During his address, PM Modi also attacked opposition parties, accusing them of resisting reforms and attempting to slow down development initiatives for political reasons.

Without softening his criticism, he said parties opposing the BJP’s legislative agenda were standing against the aspirations of both women and the wider public.
