The line connects with Metro Line 7 at Dahisar East, allowing commuters to travel directly from Mira Road and nearby areas to Gundavli in Andheri East, significantly improving connectivity in the northern suburbs.

Residents of Mira-Bhayandar have long relied heavily on road transport, causing frequent traffic jams. The new metro line is expected to reduce congestion, provide a faster travel option, and offer a reliable daily commute for thousands of passengers.
