Mumbai: Political tensions have risen over the investigation into the Ajit Pawar plane crash case, with leaders demanding greater accountability and transparency. The issue has now reached the national political stage, with calls for intervention by top constitutional authorities.
Rohit Pawar Flags Political and Commercial Conspiracy
Speaking in Delhi, NCP-SCP leader Rohit Pawar raised serious concerns over the handling of the Ajit Pawar plane crash investigation. He said multiple layers of conspiracy could be involved and questioned whether powerful interests were influencing the probe.
“If we talk about conspiracies, there can be two types of conspiracies: political and commercial. We want to find out which one it is. Another thing is that if someone is supporting or protecting the VSR company, which is responsible for it, that could also be a conspiracy. So many powerful people are behind this company. DGCA officials are behind it,” Rohit Pawar said.
Allegations Against Company and Regulatory Officials
Rohit Pawar alleged that the company linked to the case, VSR, may be receiving protection from influential figures. He also named officials of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), suggesting that regulatory oversight may have been compromised.
He said the presence of powerful individuals behind the company makes it difficult for the investigation to reach a fair conclusion without strong political intervention.
Appeal to PM Modi and Amit Shah
Calling for decisive action, Rohit Pawar urged Narendra Modi and Amit Shah to personally oversee the matter.
“But if this investigation needs to be brought to justice, only the most powerful people in India, like Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Amit Shah, can bring justice to Ajit Dada, because the rest of the people involved are also powerful. I request them to personally address this investigation,” he said.
Letter to Prime Minister Announced
Rohit Pawar said he would formally communicate his concerns to the Prime Minister.
“I’m going to send a letter addressed to PM Modi via email today,” he added.
Demand for Aviation Minister’s Resignation
Escalating the issue further, the NCP-SCP leader demanded political accountability at the highest level.
“The Aviation Minister must resign. This is our demand,” Rohit Pawar said.
