New Delhi: Airbus is set to deliver a high-impact showcase at Wings India 2026, featuring a comprehensive display of fixed-wing aircraft, helicopters and next-generation training solutions that underscore the future of Indian aviation.

The European aerospace major will present its portfolio at the premier Indian airshow at Begumpet Airport, Hyderabad, from January 28 to 31, 2026, including an immersive helicopter simulator and a wide range of aerospace services.

Visitors will be able to get up close to some of Airbus’ flagship platforms, including:

  • A321neo — the world’s best-selling large single-aisle aircraft
  • A220 — a proven game-changer for domestic and regional international connectivity
  • H160 helicopter — redefining helicopter aviation in India
  • H125 — the world’s most popular single-engine, multi-mission helicopter, soon to be assembled in India at Vemagal, Karnataka

Technology showcase at Hall A

At Stand 11, Hall A, Airbus will spotlight future-ready technology through scale models of:

  • H145 twin-engine helicopter
  • A321XLR — the groundbreaking long-range single-aisle aircraft

Following its landmark Indian debut earlier this month, the A321XLR is positioned as a true “route opener”, capable of operating sectors traditionally flown by wide-body aircraft.

The centrepiece of the stand will be the H125 Virtual Reality Simulator — an advanced immersive training device that blends real-flight experience with the safety and efficiency of simulation technology, marking a new era in pilot training.

India: A strategic market for Airbus

“India is both a key market and an industrial base for Airbus. Our presence at Wings India 2026 reflects the full spectrum of our activities here — from Make in India helicopter and military aircraft assembly lines to our digital and engineering hubs in Bengaluru,” said Jürgen Westermeier, President & Managing Director, Airbus India & South Asia.

“From deploying world-class pilot training centres to sourcing nearly $1.5 billion annually in components and services from Indian suppliers, Airbus is deeply invested in building a holistic aerospace ecosystem in the country.”

Sustainability & services

Beyond aircraft, Airbus will also present:

  • End-to-end lifecycle services to optimise fleet performance
  • Its decarbonisation roadmap
  • Insights into the role of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) in powering the future of flight

Recruitment drive

During public days, Airbus will host a Meet-and-Greet recruitment event at its stand. Company executives will interact with candidates for roles in digital and engineering domains, seeking expertise in:

  • Big Data
  • Internet of Things (IoT)
  • Avionics software
  • Airframe engineering
