Delhi: In a dramatic turn of events at India Gate, Delhi Police registered an FIR on Monday after a group of protesters allegedly used chili spray on on-duty personnel, leading to chaos at the iconic site.
According to the police, the demonstrators not only obstructed government work but also attempted to break security cordons, prompting immediate action.
A total of 15 protesters have been arrested so far—some detained at India Gate itself, while others were picked up near the Parliament Street police station.
