Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday extended heartfelt thanks to the people of Bihar for delivering what he described as a “historic and unmatched mandate” to the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in the 2025 Assembly Elections. He said the sweeping verdict reflected the people’s faith in good governance, rapid development and social justice.
In multiple posts on X, the Prime Minister wrote that “the victory of good governance, development, public welfare and social justice” had shaped the people’s choice. Calling the citizens of Bihar his “parivar ke sadasya”, he said the verdict had strengthened the NDA’s resolve to work with even greater determination.
PM Modi applauded the NDA’s collective leadership, congratulating Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and alliance partners Chirag Paswan, Jitan Ram Manjhi and Upendra Kushwaha for what he termed a “remarkable victory.” He added that the people had endorsed the alliance’s record of progress and its roadmap for Bihar’s future.
He also praised NDA workers for their spirited campaign, saying they reached every corner of the state with the developmental vision while “exposing the opposition’s misinformation with facts and confidence.”
