Mumbai: The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) is all set to announce the SSC (Class 10) and HSC (Class 12) exam timetable for 2026, though the exact date and time of release are yet to be revealed. Students will be able to download the PDF of the schedule from the official board website mahahsscboard.in , providing detailed subject-wise and shift-wise exam dates.
While the official announcement is awaited, based on previous years’ patterns, Class 10 and 12 exams are expected to begin in February 2026 and conclude within a month. Students are encouraged to plan their preparation accordingly to avoid last-minute stress.
The submission of Class 10 exam forms started on September 15, 2025, and will continue until October 6, 2025. Class 12 students can submit their forms until October 20, 2025.
Looking at past trends, SSC exams in 2025 were conducted from February 21 to March 17, while HSC exams took place between February 11 and March 11. In 2024, SSC exams ran from March 1 to 26, and HSC from February 21 to March 23. These patterns indicate that February is likely the starting month for both 2026 exams, giving students a clear framework to plan their revision.
The board’s recent results have been impressive, with HSC 2025 seeing 13,02,873 students pass out of 14,17,969, achieving a 91.88% pass rate. Among divisions, Konkan led with 96.74%, while Latur recorded the lowest at 89.46%. SSC results for 2025 reported a 94.10% pass percentage, highlighting consistently strong performance trends across the state.
