Navi Mumbai: Tech giant Google has officially responded to the recent incident in Navi Mumbai where a 29-year-old woman accidentally drove her car into Belapur Creek, allegedly following directions on Google Maps. The woman, identified as Shweta Sharma from Kharghar, was reportedly en route to Ulwe when the mishap occurred during heavy rainfall. The accident, which could have turned tragic, saw a swift response from coastal security police and the Indian Rescue Academy, who managed to save Sharma in time. The vehicle was later pulled out of the water using a crane.
