Patna: Union Minister and Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) leader Chirag Paswan has extended his support to the Election Commission, asserting that the institution is functioning with complete transparency. Addressing the media, Paswan said that if there had been any irregularities, he and his party would have openly raised concerns.
He emphasized, “The Election Commission is working with complete transparency. If that weren’t the case, we too would have raised questions. At the very least, my party and I certainly would have. You all know that I and my party never hesitate to speak out against injustice, no matter where it occurs, even if it’s within our own government. If we felt that there was any issue in this process, we would definitely raise our voice.”
Paswan’s remarks come amid increasing scrutiny and political allegations around the role of constitutional institutions. His statement positions his party as both supportive of democratic processes and willing to challenge wrongdoing, even within the ruling establishment.
