In a historic achievement for India and global space exploration, the Axiom-4 mission successfully launched from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida on Wednesday. Onboard the SpaceX Dragon spacecraft is Indian astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla, marking a proud milestone for the country as he joins three other international astronauts on a journey to the International Space Station (ISS).
The spacecraft lifted off from Launch Complex 39A after facing multiple delays due to technical checks and unfavorable weather conditions. The mission, organized by Axiom Space in partnership with SpaceX and NASA, represents the fourth private astronaut mission to the ISS.
