New Delhi: In response to escalating tensions between India and Pakistan, several districts in Punjab and Haryana have been placed on high alert. The Pathankot district administration has announced the closure of all schools for the next 72 hours as a precautionary measure. The strikes were in retaliation for the deadly Pahalgam terror attack that killed 26 individuals, including tourists. The airspace and airports have been secured, with all flights canceled until noon to ensure safety.

A mock drill will take place at 4:00 PM to test readiness in the region. The Border Security Force (BSF), Indian Air Force, and Indian Army are closely monitoring every movement across the border.
