Handwara: The Chemists and Distributors Association Handwara organized a candlelight march this evening to condemn recent acts of terrorism and express solidarity with the victims. The peaceful protest was led by Association President Altaf Hussain Zargar, General Secretary Prince Lone, and Chairman Javid Zargar.
Participants in the march raised slogans promoting peace and unity, declaring, “We are against terrorism. We are peace lovers and want peace to prevail.”
In a strong statement, the association condemned the recent incidents, calling them “totally unacceptable” and demanding strict action against those involved. “We want those responsible to be brought to justice and given the harshest punishment,” the leaders said.
The event concluded with a moment of silence in remembrance of the victims and a collective call for peace and stability in the region.
