Mumbai: New revelations in the Disha Salian death case have surfaced, suggesting that she died by suicide due to financial betrayal by her father, Satish Salian. The closure report cites failed projects, misunderstandings with friends, and the alleged misuse of her money by her father, who reportedly spent it on a female employee at his spice manufacturing unit in Thane.
According to a Midday report, “Everyone stated that Salian was under stress due to business and family issues. She was working as a celebrity manager at Cornerstone Company, and two of the projects she was handling had stalled, which left her upset.” The report also noted that her fiancé and friends confirmed that she was deeply distressed after discovering her father’s alleged affair and financial misconduct.
The post-mortem report ruled out any assault, stating that Disha died due to a severe head injury. Meanwhile, Satish Salian’s lawyer, Nilesh Ojha, argued that the closure report holds no legal weight, citing Supreme Court judgments.
Amid growing demands for justice, Satish Salian has called for narco tests on all accused, including Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Aaditya Thackeray, actors Sooraj Pancholi, and Dino Morea. “I am ready for a Narco Test. But there should be a Narco Test of Aaditya Thackeray, Sooraj Pancholi, and Dino Morea too. All accused should be tested,” he told ANI.
