Bandipora: In a tragic incident, an Indian Army truck carrying troops skidded off the road and plunged down a hill in Jammu and Kashmir’s Bandipora district, leading to the death of two soldiers and leaving five others critically injured. The mishap occurred in the Saderkoot Payeen area, sending shockwaves across the region.
The accident reportedly happened when the driver lost control of the vehicle while navigating a sharp turn. All seven soldiers aboard the truck sustained severe injuries and were immediately rushed to a nearby hospital. Sadly, two of them succumbed to their injuries despite efforts by the medical team.
Authorities fear that the death toll may rise as the condition of the injured soldiers remains critical. Additional security forces and local police were deployed to the accident site to carry out rescue operations and ensure the safe evacuation of the injured personnel.
