Starting today, Amit Shah will embark on a two-day visit to the state to review preparations for the assembly elections and to bolster the confidence of party officials and workers.
During his visit, Amit Shah is scheduled to hold discussions with party office bearers in key locations, including Nagpur and Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. He will engage with approximately 2,000 officials from various levels of the party across four venues. Notably, a significant meeting with over 1,500 Vidarbha assembly office bearers is set to take place, where discussions will center on the BJP’s strategy to address its underwhelming performance in the recent Lok Sabha elections in the region.
“The upcoming meetings are crucial as we strategize on how to approach the assembly elections and respond to our opponents,” said a party insider. Amit Shah’s interactions are expected to set the tone for the party’s campaign in the state, fostering unity and a renewed sense of purpose among the party ranks.
Following his engagements in Nagpur and Sambhajinagar, Shah will continue his tour with meetings in Nashik and Kolhapur, where he aims to assess local conditions and galvanize support ahead of the elections.
