Andhra Pradesh CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy Joins Muslims for Namaz at Iftar Party, Video Goes Viral

A recent video capturing Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy participating in the maghrib namaz (sunset prayer) during an iftar party has stirred discussion and admiration across social media platforms. In the footage, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, President of the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP), is seen bowing down in prayer alongside Muslims at the iftar gathering, showcasing a gesture of inclusivity and solidarity.

The incident occurred during an iftar party organized as part of Reddy’s ‘Memanta Siddham’ (‘we are all ready’) election campaign bus tour. The Chief Minister’s presence at the event exemplifies his commitment to engaging with diverse communities and fostering harmony and unity.

Following a brief hiatus, Reddy resumed his statewide canvassing tour from Sanjeevapuram in Sri Satyasai district, embarking on a journey through various villages, including Batthulapalli, Mudigubba, Ramapuram, Patnam, Yerradoddi, Kutagula, and Kadiri. As the campaign progressed into its fifth day, Reddy continued his outreach efforts, traversing through Motukapalle, Jogannapeta, and S Mulakapalle, concluding the day’s journey at Chikatimanipalle.

During his canvassing tour, Reddy refrained from addressing public meetings until reaching Kadiri on Monday. Subsequently, on Tuesday, he continued his campaign trail, commencing from Chikatimanipalle and proceeding through Vepurikota, Burrakayalakota Cross, and Gollapalli, before reaching Madanapalle in Annamayya district, where plans were in place for a public meeting. Continuing onward, he traversed through Nimmanapalli Cross, Boyakonda Cross, Chodepalli, Somala, and concluded the day’s journey at Ammagaripalli.

Reddy’s election campaign bus tour spans 21 days, commencing from Idupulupaya in Kadapa district and culminating at Icchapuram in Srikakulam district. The forthcoming elections for the 175-member Andhra Pradesh Assembly and 25 Lok Sabha seats in the state are scheduled for May 13, with vote counting slated for June 4.
