The Congress party has entered the fray amidst reports of a growing discord between the ruling parties of Haryana, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), and the Jannayak Janata Party (JJP). In a recent development, Congress leader Pawan Khera voiced his concerns, shedding light on the alleged disarray within the coalition.

Khera, in a statement shared on X, expressed his apprehensions, stating, “Chale The Himachal Karne, Haryana Ho Gaya,” which roughly translates to “They went to Himachal to topple the government, but the Haryana government is falling.” This critique comes in response to mounting tensions within the BJP-JJP alliance.

According to emerging reports, high-ranking officials from both the BJP and JJP have convened separate meetings with their respective Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs). Preceding these gatherings, Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has scheduled a meeting of all BJP ministers at his residence, indicating a significant development in the political landscape of Haryana.

Citing government sources, The Indian Express hinted at the possibility of a “comprehensive Cabinet reshuffle,” speculated to exclude any representation from the JJP. Instead, the BJP purportedly contemplates securing support from Independent MLAs, with plans to integrate several into the Cabinet structure.

Earlier speculations suggested that Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar might tender his resignation on Tuesday, marking a potential shift in leadership dynamics. Furthermore, the BJP is reportedly considering Khattar as its candidate from the Karnal constituency in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, underscoring the party’s strategic maneuvers amidst internal turmoil.

In the wake of these developments, Nayab Saini or Sanjay Bhatia emerge as potential replacements for Khattar, signaling a possible reshaping of the state’s political landscape. Reports indicate that the entire Khattar cabinet might collectively resign, setting the stage for a significant overhaul in Haryana’s governance structure.

As the political landscape of Haryana undergoes a transformative phase, the Congress party’s critique underscores the growing tensions within the ruling coalition. With uncertainties looming over the future trajectory of the state government, Haryana braces itself for a potential paradigm shift in its political narrative.
