In a dramatic turn of events surrounding the security breach at Parliament last December, five out of the six accused individuals have come forward with startling allegations of torture and coercion. Sagar Sharma, Manoranjan D, Lalit Jha, Mahesh Kumawat, and Amol Shinde, who are embroiled in the case, have claimed that they were subjected to severe torture and undue pressure to implicate a political leader or party in connection with the breach.

The accused lodged an application detailing their alleged ordeal before Additional Sessions Judge Hardeep Kaur of Patiala House Courts. According to their testimony, they were subjected to physical torture, including electric shocks, in an attempt to extract confessions. Furthermore, they assert that they were forced to sign blank papers and divulge their passwords for various electronic accounts, including mobile phones, emails, and social media platforms.

Adding to the gravity of their claims, the accused assert that during polygraph or narco tests, two of them were coerced into falsely implicating a political entity in the Parliament security breach case.

The Patiala House Courts will convene a hearing on the application on February 17, where the accused will have the opportunity to present their grievances formally. Additionally, the court has directed the Delhi Police, the investigating authority in the case, to submit its response to the allegations.

Meanwhile, the judicial custody of all the accused, including Neelam Azad, has been extended until March 1, pending further legal proceedings.

The security breach at Parliament occurred on December 13, coinciding with the 22nd anniversary of the 2001 Parliament attack. During the incident, two of the accused, Manoranjan and Sagar, allegedly discharged yellow smoke canisters after infiltrating the Lok Sabha chamber from the visitors’ gallery. Their actions were promptly thwarted by the Members of Parliament present in the House.

Simultaneously, two other accused, Azad and Shinde, reportedly discharged smoke canisters and raised slogans outside the Parliament premises. Lalit Jha is purported to be the mastermind behind the operation, allegedly absconding with the mobile phones of the four other accused individuals.

As the investigation unfolds and legal proceedings progress, the veracity of the allegations of torture and coercion leveled by the accused will undoubtedly come under scrutiny, shedding further light on the complexities surrounding the Parliament security breach case.

    I have exactly the same issues as the original poster. Clearly a Lenovo issue with the Slim 3. We can get the video playing but the the app will not let you go to full screen properly.
