Afghani-style disaster created by Uddhav Thackeray led Shiv Sena, says BJP’s Ashish Shelar

Mumbai: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) deputy leader of  Legislative Council, Vijay @ Bhai Girkar has couriered two books to Uddhav Thackeray led Shiv Sena spokesperson MP Sanjay Raut. The two books based on the life of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar as published by the state government and the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC). Uddhav Thackeray led Shiv Sena is consciously trying to create new controversy over the place where Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar was born. This has raised questions in the minds of Ambedkar’s believers. 

When a farmer is hit by the crisis, we call it a natural disaster. But here is Uddhavji’s Shiv Sena that is deliberately creating Afghani-style crisis by starting a controversy over Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar’s birthplace.

“We wonder why they are doing this. Sanjay Raut does not leave an opportunity to expose his ignorance. And we have seen it in the past as well. We do not want to get into the debate whether is it the doctor who prescribes medication to the patient or the compounder. He has also shown his ignorance by opining as to who qualifies to be the advisor to the WHO. Even after these incidents, he has not stopped and now he has gone to the extent of spreading false information about the birthplace of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar. Spreading this false information is an unforgivable mistake. Why is there an attempt to create this controversy?”, Questioned Shehar.

The Mumbai BJP chief further remarked, “Why is Uddhav Thackeray’s Shiv Sena ignorant about Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar? Does Uddhavji’s Shiv Sena agree to the Constitution that is based on equality, fraternity and freedom and that it was penned by Dr. Ambedkar? Do they agree that it was Dr. Ambedkar who gave voice to the Dalits and the oppressed classes of the society? Hopefully they agree that Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar had contributed to the formation of a new ‘Bharat’ post-independence? In fact, Sanjay Raut will not even think twice before publishing in the daily Saamna that it was Uddhavji because of whom the above things happened”.

“Sanjay Raut, despite spreading wrong information, hasn’t apologized. Isn’t it the height of his ego? The Bharatiya Janata Party will not accept this. Uddhavji’s Shiv Sena joined hands with the Congress that had defeated Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar. And today Uddhavji’s Sena is trying to create controversy over Dr. Ambedkar’s birthplace. And hence BJP strongly condemns it. We are questioning Uddhavji to disclose his stance on this”, added Shelar. 

BJP to hold ‘Maafi Maango’ Andolan on Saturday

Deputy leader of Uddhav Thackeray’sShiv Sena Sushma Andhare’s statements are currently doing rounds on the social media. In it, she is found insulting Lord Ramchandra, abusing Lord Krishna, mocking at Saint Dnyaneshwar, taunting Saint Eknath and insulting the Varkari sect. Isn’t this a treason of Maharashtra? This is my question to Uddhav Thackeray. When there is an open insult of Hindu Gods and Hindu’ sentiments are being openly hurt by such statements on the social media, ‘Uddhavji why aren’t you breaking your silence? What this is fuss about the morcha then?”, asked Shelar.

Shelar further stated “Today there is discontent in the society. How can Uddhavji’s Shiv Sena tolerate the mockery of Lord Ram, Lord Sri Krishna, the saints and the Varkaris? Maharashtra cannot tolerate this. And hence the BJP has decided to hold this ‘Maafi Maango’ andolan on Saturday.”

The andolan is in protest of the insult of Hindu gods and goddesses and for raising controversy over the birth place of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar, the BJP will hold ‘Maafi Maango’ demonstrations in the six Lok Sabha constituencies on Saturday, December 17. BJP will agitate asking Uddhavji to apologize, asking Ajit Pawar to apologize, asking Nana Patole to apologize…. And we will not let go of this subject even in the future, added Shekhar.
