Two-time Olympic bronze medallist PV Sindhu claimed the women’s singles gold with a win over Michelle Li of Canada in the final at the Commonwealth Games 2022 on Monday, August 8.
Earlier, Sindhu was at her clinical best as she defeated Malaysian rival Yeo Jia Minin in straight games, winning the match 21-10, 21-17 in the semifinals.
