BDC chairman and deputy chairman Langate gets booster dose today at SDH Langate

Srinagar: In view of rising Covid-19 cases government provided with booster dose to above age of 60 years and frontline workers.

On Wednesday chairman and deputy chairman Block Development Council (BDC) Langate Gh Ahmad Lone got their Booster Dose of the Covid-19 vaccine at Sub District Hospital (SDH) Langate.   

Chairman added that a Covid-19 vaccine booster shot is an additional dose of a vaccine given after the protection provided by the earlier shot’s has begun to decrease over time. 

The booster helps people maintain strong protection from severe coronavirus disease.  

Chairman BDC Langate Showkat Pandith suggested that people who are fully vaccinated earlier, get a booster dose when they are eligible, and that they stay up to date with Covid-19 vaccinations.
