Union Health Ministry today said that ten States have reported 74.7 per cent of the new Covid cases in last 24 hours.
These States are Karnataka, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, West Bengal, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Odisha and Haryana.
The Ministry said, Karnataka has reported the highest daily new cases at 41 thousand 664.
It is followed by Maharashtra with 34,848 while Tamil Nadu reported 33,658 new cases.
In the last 24 hours, 3,11,170 new cases were registered in the country.
Health Ministry said, ten States account for 75.55 per cent of the new deaths.
Maharashtra saw the maximum casualties 960 followed by Karnataka with 349 daily deaths.
