Young Kannada TV Actress Nandini CM Found Dead in Bengaluru, Police Call It Suicide

Bengaluru: The Kannada television industry was left stunned after 26-year-old actress Nandini CM was found dead at a paying guest accommodation in Bengaluru. The incident came to light at a PG facility in the Kengeri area, where the actress had been living while pursuing her acting career.

According to Bengaluru City Police, Nandini was discovered hanging inside her room at the PG building. Initial findings suggest that the incident occurred late at night, sometime between December 28 and the early hours of December 29. Police were alerted the following morning, after which a team rushed to the spot and began preliminary investigation.

Senior police officials confirmed that Nandini’s mother has lodged a formal complaint. In her statement, she reportedly told authorities that she does not suspect any individual or external involvement in her daughter’s death. Based on the available evidence, police are currently treating the case as suicide.

During the spot inspection, investigators recovered a handwritten note from the room. As per police sources, the note indicates that the actress had been under severe emotional strain. She reportedly mentioned mental stress, depression, and personal pressure related to marriage expectations and concerns about securing a government job. The note has been sent for verification as part of the ongoing probe.

The sudden demise of the young actress has triggered an outpouring of grief across social media, with fans, colleagues, and members of the television fraternity expressing shock and sorrow. Many described her as a promising talent whose life was cut tragically short.

Nandini CM had made her mark in Kannada and Tamil television serials, gaining recognition for her performances in popular shows such as Jeeva Hoovagide, Sangharsha, and Gauri. She had undergone formal acting training in Rajarajeshwari Nagar and was steadily building her career in the television industry.
