In a recent development, the Jalandhar Police took into custody a woman who had shared private videos of her former employer, the renowned Kulhad Pizza couple, on social media platforms. The suspect had previously been employed at a pizza shop owned by the popular influencer couple in Jalandhar.

Police authorities revealed that the woman’s termination from her position at the pizza shop was a result of her unsatisfactory job performance.

The ex-employee’s actions took a troubling turn when she attempted to extort Rs 20,000 in exchange for explicit content contained within the videos as a form of retaliation for her dismissal.

The arrest came in the wake of a First Information Report (FIR) filed on September 20, invoking Sections 384 (extortion) and 509 (outraging the modesty of a woman) of the Indian Penal Code, alongside relevant provisions of the IT Act.

According to the investigation, the accused woman had established a fake Instagram account and, on September 7, sent a message to the pizza shop owner, Sehaj Arora, demanding a payment of Rs 20,000 to prevent the release of a private video featuring him and his wife. She provided a bank account number and stipulated a deadline for the monetary transfer.

Law enforcement successfully traced the bank account, leading to the woman’s apprehension on Friday. Regrettably, prior to her arrest, the private video involving the pizza shop owners had already circulated widely on social media platforms.

The police are currently conducting an inquiry into how the arrested woman gained access to the video in question, aiming to shed light on this disturbing incident.
