In a disturbing turn of events in Vaishali district, Bihar, a 24-year-old woman has been arrested after allegedly attacking a man with acid. The assault resulted in severe burn injuries to the victim’s face, identified as Dharmendra Kumar (22), who works as a taxi driver. The incident unfolded in the early hours of Tuesday at Simarwada village, falling under the jurisdiction of Patepur police station.
The police report suggests that the motive behind this shocking attack was an alleged refusal by the victim to marry the accused woman. Following the disagreement, the woman purportedly resorted to using acid as a means of retribution, causing critical injuries to Kumar.
As a consequence of the assault, Kumar is currently receiving medical treatment at a private hospital in Hajipur, undergoing care for the severe burns inflicted during the attack.
