War of Words Escalates: Sudhir Mungantiwar Responds Firmly to Raj Thackeray’s Verbal Attack on Nishikant Dubey

Mumbai: The political storm over the language controversy in Maharashtra intensified as BJP leader and MLA Sudhir Mungantiwar reacted strongly to Raj Thackeray’s aggressive jibe directed at BJP MP Nishikant Dubey.

The clash began when Nishikant Dubey made a controversial “Patak Patak ke Maarenge” remark, which provoked a heated counter from MNS chief Raj Thackeray, who invoked “Mumbai ke samundar mein dubo dubo ke maarenge.” Responding to this, Mungantiwar asserted that such threats have no place in a constitutional democracy like India.

He emphasized that no one has the authority to carry out violent threats and warned that the country has always stood firmly behind its constitutional values. Mungantiwar cited the sacrifice of police heroes like Tukaram Omble, stating that if anyone tried to take the law into their hands, there are countless officers ready to uphold peace and law.
