UP govt committed to provide better health services, says Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has said that the state government is committed to provide better health services to the people. He said awareness should be created about the e-Sanjivani App to get health services in an effective way. The Chief Minister was reviewing Covid-19 situation in the state at a high-level meeting in Lucknow yesterday.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has instructed that guidelines regarding Covid-19 be followed strictly in every condition and people should be continuously made aware regarding how to escape Covid infection. He also instructed for strengthening contact tracing and surveillance of Covid in the state.

Meanwhile the number of hot spot areas in the state has decreased to 7335 and covid recovery rate has increased to 95.01percent. According to health department sources , ranging between one lakh 50 thousand to one lakh 75 thousand tests are being done every day and as of now more than 2 crore 12 lakh Covid tests have been conducted in a state.

District Magistrates have been asked to have better coordination with district police heads and Chief Medical Officers for effective management of the cold Chain and ensure elaborate security of covid vaccine. It is notable that 35 thousand Covid Vaccine centres are to be established in the state. Meanwhile training of vaccinators is going on.
