Timely assistance from 92 Bn CRPF saves Handwara teenager’s life

Srinagar: Timely assistance extended by 92 Battalion Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) saved the life of a teenager here on Saturday.

Teenager identified as Athar Nazir (16), hailing from Udi Pora, Langate Handwara, fell unconscious at Wadura stop, on board a Srinagar-Handwara bound non-stop bus.

The teenager was soon after deboarded and taken to 92 Bn CRPF hospital, where timely assistance provided by Dr. Arshid came handy. After initial medical attention received at the hospital, the teenager was referred to GMC Handwara for further check-up – where his overall condition is said to be stable.

The Commandant 92 Battalion has in the meantime hailed efforts of his team to ensure the well-being of the teenager.
