In a startling development, Uttar Pradesh’s Lucknow was rattled by a threat call aimed at Chief Minister and BJP leader Yogi Adityanath, threatening to detonate a bomb. The alarming call was reportedly placed to the Security Headquarters of the Control Room in the metropolitan city on Saturday night, March 2, around 10 PM.

The call, which came from the number 8889991916, was attended to by Uttar Pradesh Police Head Constable Udham Singh, who promptly reported the incident. Lucknow Police swiftly sprung into action following the threat, initiating a thorough investigation into the matter based on the information provided by the vigilant head constable.

According to reports, the caller, described as a youngster, dialed the Crime Intelligence Unit (CIU) number and menacingly declared, “Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath would be blown up with a bomb.” However, the call abruptly ended when the police officer pressed for the caller’s location and additional details, sparking a flurry of activity within the police department as they launched a probe into the incident.

In response to the grave threat, Uttar Pradesh authorities have mobilized four investigative teams to delve into the matter and track down the individual responsible for the menacing call. Utilizing surveillance technology, the UP Police are diligently tracing the mobile phone used by the culprit and are determined to apprehend them expeditiously.

This incident is not the first instance of threats targeting Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
