Srinagar: A teenage sensation Nasir Roshan Khan hailing from Nowshera area of Boniyar tehsil in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district has penned his first book titled “Heal The Humanity” in poetry genre which comprises 18 to 20 poems. This book depicts the verses of peace, love, unity and humanity. What’s more his books are available online at Amazon and Google book stores.
The teenage author is also co-author of seven plus books which includes Sheen, Broken Soul, Peace and Poetry, Memorial life of School, Drowned Ink, International magazine The Vision etc Soul, Peace and is also compiler of a book titled “And The Sorrow We Tote” in which he prospers 10-15 writers to prosper.
He started his journey of writing in February 2020 when he was reading the book of Anne Frank and the sentence in that book “Paper has more patience than people” inspired him to write his own verses and portray something in his own words.
His father Mohammad Roshan Khan is govt employee and his mother Saleema Begum is house wife. Both are glad by the achievements of their son.
Author also writes in English as well as in Urdu language and also focuses on his mother tongue language Pahadi.
He added that “The arrows of criticism shot at me never dampen my spirit, rather they enhance my courage to prepare for the worst. I motivate myself by saying that I have to live up to my own expectations and for me poetry heals my pains, poetry prepares me to do something great for society.”
Author is also working in a podcast namely “Aao Unhen Yaad Karen” as a manuscript writer and has an online platform “Jannat de Jugnu” where he features talent of Kashmiri artists through online sessions, competitions etc.
Author has been inspired by many, some of them include Anne Frank, Ali Zaryoun, Aga Shahid Ali etc and has been supported by many artists. Author is regularly focused on his art and is now working on his second project and has a dream to write more for the betterment of society.
