The Hague, Netherlands: Stichting Netherlands Yogasana Sports Association (NYSA) had the pleasure of participating in the Mix & Match Volunteer Job Fair held on Saturday, November 30, from 11:00 to 15:30 at The Social Hub, The Hague – Hoefkade 9, 2526 BN The Hague.
This event, hosted by the Volunteer The Hague project of PEP Den Haag, brought together over 30 organizations representing a wide range of causes, including human rights, social justice, refugee and migrant support, animal welfare, and environmental conservation.
It provided an excellent platform for local non-profits to connect with internationals eager to support impactful initiatives—no Dutch language skills required! NYSA, represented by its President Ms. Pranita Deshpande and Secretary General Ms. Manasi Mohril, set up an engaging stall showcasing the association’s mission to promote Yogasana as a competitive sport and a pathway to holistic well-being.
They highlighted the objectives of NYSA and shared information about its activities, encouraging visitors to get involved. The NYSA stall received an overwhelming response, with more than 80 visitors stopping by to learn about the organization and explore opportunities to contribute.
A special token of appreciation was presented to Mr. Gert-Jan Aleman, Director of PEP Den Haag, and Ms. Tetyana Benzeroual, Project Lead of Volunteer The Hague, for organizing this inspiring event and providing NYSA the opportunity to participate.
Ms. Pranita Deshpande expressed her delight in being part of the event, stating, “It was inspiring to see so many organizations working tirelessly to make a difference. We are grateful for the opportunity to share our mission and connect with like-minded individuals.”
The event was a remarkable success, fostering new connections, raising awareness, and building a stronger network of support for important causes. The participation of more than 80 visitors at the NYSA stall underscores the growing interest in Yogasana and its potential to enhance well-being.
NYSA looks forward to continuing its collaboration with Volunteer The Hague and other organizations to make a positive impact in the community. For more information about NYSA, visit our website www.thenysa.nl or connect with us on social media.
