New Delhi: As the Delhi government prepares to present the much-anticipated Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) report in the Assembly, BJP national general secretary Tarun Chugh launched a scathing attack on former Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, alleging that his tenure was marred by widespread corruption.
Speaking to news agency, Chugh declared that the “arrogant emperor of the Sheesh Mahal” and his “team of scamsters” would soon be left with nowhere to hide once the CAG report is made public. He claimed that the findings would expose the Kejriwal-led Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government’s misdeeds, strengthening BJP’s case against its political rival.
“Our government will expose the individuals who have engaged in fraud and corruption,” Chugh asserted, emphasizing that the BJP’s double-engine government in Delhi is committed to delivering transparency and accountability.
Accusing Kejriwal of attempting to distract the public from the upcoming revelations, Chugh stated that AAP leaders were resorting to misleading statements in a desperate bid to shift focus. He insisted that the CAG report would serve as a decisive moment in exposing the financial mismanagement and alleged scams that plagued Kejriwal’s administration.
