Says she is committed towards responsive and accountable policing.
Srinagar: Sheema Nabi Qasba, IPS took over charge as Superintendent of Police (SP), Handwara on Saturday.
Immediately after assuming the charge, the new SP had an introductory cum interactive meeting with all police officers of the Handwara district police.
While addressing the officers, the SP reiterated her commitment toward good policing.
Sheema Nabi Qasba, IPS unequivocally said that the priority of her administration would be a responsive and accountable female police officer. She stressed upon all the officers to work in tandem and play their role in reinforcing the faith of people in Jammu and Kashmir police (JK Police).
Calling good policing as a cornerstone of public peace and prosperity, she urged upon the officers to work with dedication, commitment and integrity. She stressed upon bringing qualitative changes in the district and making Handwara a crime free zone.
